Honoring Shirley Wade

I had a very special opportunity to document my Granny Shirley Wade's service. This was the most special and spiritual experience I have had in my photographic journey. Heartbreak, Love and gratitude are just a few of the feelings that were rushing through me during this time. I was able to photograph her children saying their goodbye's to their mother. I am grateful to have such a loving and caring woman in my life. Granny married Papa when she was 15 years old. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary in January. What an amazing example they have been in my life. I love you Granny.

 

Tiffany & Jared Christmas

Tiffany asked if we could head up the mountain and take some christmas photos of her and Jared skiing, I love when clients want to do fun shoots like this because not only does it create a relaxed and fun feel for the shoot but I learn so much from taking on new challenges like this. We braved the frigid 6 degree air and these are the images that we made!

My Brother and Sister in law recently brought this sweet little guy into the world! And I have to say he is one of the most handsome little guys I have ever seen. I was lucky enough to photograph him the day after he was born and what a sweet moment it was! Here he is lil' Leo Christopher Wade

After I had sent these images to the family I recieved an email back from granny that was a sweet reminder of why I love to make photographs.
